The Ninth Lesson

The dark is generous, and it is patient, and it always wins.
It always wins because it is everywhere.
It is in the wood that burns in your hearth, and in the kettle on the fire; it is under your chair and under your table and under the sheets on your bed. Walk in the midday sun, and the dark is with you, attached to the soles of your feet.
The brightest light casts the darkest shadow. – from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (novelization) by Matthew Stover

the Code, revisited.

  1. There will always be Conflict, Within and Without, through these Conflicts, I gain Passion or Drive in life.
  2. With the Drive in place, I begin to better myself to greater heights than before.
  3. With this Aspiration achieved, I gain what is needed to Change.
  4. With this Change, I succeed and become the Successor
  5. Now that I am the Successor, I see that there are no such thing as Limits on my Self
  6. With my Success gained and my Limits abolished, my Will has freed me and allowed me to perpetually Evolve.
